I proudly served in the Army and was deployed for both Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Some of my best friends are the men I served with in combat, and we stay in touch to this day. The incredible leaders I served under and the Soldiers I stood shoulder to shoulder with have had a huge influence on how I run my business. I don't see myself and my clients on opposite sides of the table; we're on the same team.
My interest in investing began in high school. In my previous career, I've strived to build a reputation within the industry as someone clients could depend on. My investments were with Edward Jones at the time, and during a couple of conversations with my advisor, he suggested that I consider a career in the financial services industry. After some thought, I realized it was something I would enjoy.
Helping clients address their retirement goals is incredibly rewarding. Over the years, I've formed decades-long friendships with the people who value me with their investments. After nearly 20 years in business, I consider many of my clients friends.
I live in Clarion, PA, with my wife Amy. We have three sons, our oldest and his wife live in Erie, PA with our three grandchildren. Our two younger sons live in NC. Amy and I have a German Wirehaired Pointer, Millie, and a Deutsch Drahthaar, Willa. One of my favorite pastimes is training and hunting my bird dogs. We enjoy traveling whether is a day trip to Erie to spend time with our grandchildren, a trip to visit our family and hunting camp in Northern Michigan, or just a getaway to the coast.
Supporting our community is very important to me. Over the years I've served on the advisory board of my son's school, volunteered with German Shorthair Rescue, and regularly offered financial support to Veteran's causes as well as community causes like Clarion University and Clarion's Main Street Beautification efforts.
